Launched in 1947, UN Video is produced in the six official languages of the UN (French, Spanish, English, Chinese, Arabic, Russian). Highlights include an Oscar awarded for a short documentary on people with disabilitiesa documentary on UN peacekeeping in some of the world’s most dangerous environments; an urgent call for action on climate-change by UN Secretary-General Antonio; a human rights award for a profile of an act of courage in South Sudan.
