*Dr Fawzi Younis appointed as National Advisor for IOUN Volunteers, Egypt*

25th July 2022, The Management of IOUN Volunteers have approved the appointment of Dr.  Fawzi Al-Esawy Younes as the National Public Relations Officer for IOUN Volunteers, Egypt.

The body considered the expertise status of Dr Younes as follows;

 *Dr.  Fawzy El-Essawy Younis

 Professor and Head of the Adaptation Physiology Unit, Desert ResearchCenter, Egypt.

*Cooperation with Ain Shams University through the College of Graduate Studies and Environmental Research  training climate ambassadors in Egypt and Africa on recognizing and raising the knowledge capacities of young people in the field of sustainable development and climate change in preparation for Egypt’s reception of the Climate Conference 27 in November of this year 2022 at Egypt, in addition to the meeting many lectures in public libraries in  Cairo, Alexandria and some Upper Egypt governorates, and in cooperation with several Egyptian universities, to raise knowledge capabilities on sustainable development, especially the issue of climate change.

* Writing many scientific articles related to the issue of sustainable development and climate change, or participating in scientific conferences in the Arab Republic of Egypt and outside the Arab Republic of Egypt, in addition to recording a number of radio and television interviews related to raising knowledge capabilities for the issue of climate change and sustainable development.

* Community activity through participation with civil society through some community initiatives such as the Million Youth Volunteer Initiative for Climate Adaptation and the Specific Union for Climate Change in scientific meetings and workshops and these participations to raise knowledge and awareness of these issues.

As made available on his curriculum vitae, he has voluntarily served humanity at various degrees, hence, the body is assured that he will contribute immensely on developing the group.
